the humming ice truck
serves to keep me company ; it's all I can hear melancholy eyes
look upon beautiful works but no pleasure comes phone calls in transit
the reception is shoddy voices harsh and strained angry text message
first one and then another emotional thumb wars start getting ready
for the time has come to go summer brings travel when the unexpected
happens, as it always does we're seldom ready when sweeping the house
it seems like life amounts to dust, hair & legos |
